...and you see two cars pulled over on the shoulder and you know that the stretch of road ahead is prone to flooding, and it's been raining for the past day or so, and the temp is dropping so it may all be turning to ice, do you slow down???!?!?!

If you are my "d"H, you DO NOT!!! I had to yell at him to slow down tonight and he then yelled at me for criticizing his driving!

MEN! BAH HUMBUG TO HIM!

When we went to pick out our kitchen selections for this house, the shop was in a very wooded area. I yelled at him to slow down and try not to hit a deer. He yelled that he won't, but slowed down anyway. I kid you not, 50-100 yards later, a deer ran out into the road and DH had to hit the brakes even more to avoid hitting it.

Oh yeah, we avoided a deer last week. :) I was driving that time. He complimented me on my skills that time, but apparently hasn't changed his driving as a result.

my dh doesn't have problems w/ braking so much as a lead foot. Get on the highway and then blast up to 60 mph as fast as he can. jeez-at 2.25 a gallon you'd think he'd realize. He also changes lanes a lot- wth? I don't get it-at least i didn't until i rode w/ my mil..thought i was going to die. now i don't get so excited about dh's driving,he's a lot better than her.
