I knew something bad was going to happen tonight while driving. I just knew I have no idea how. So you would have thought I would be watching my speed.
But oh no!
I need to be on the phone going through a VERY well known speed trap and get a stinking ticket. Crappy cop couldn't even give me a warning either, it's been like 10 years since I've had a ticket.

You couldn't whip out fake tears or something?? With a 10 month old at home, you should still have some good PP hormones to do that.
I got out of a ticket once when I had a cold sore, conjunctivitis (because of the cold sore- don't be touchin' your eyes when you have a cold sore), and a black fly bite underneath the eye with conjunctivitis.... I looked like I had been in a rumble or something. And I was FLYING down the highway- when I got pulled over, I started crying- it had been a crazy week- and all the officer kept saying is "are you ok?" "Are you SURE you're ok?"
I kept saying "I'm Fine...I just don't even need this right now..."

So he let me go with a warning...I was going 90 in a 65.

Cold sore + conjunctivitis + blackfly bite + tears = $150 still in my bank account.

Ribbit that sucks! tell your DH he was 100% right about the advent cal. felt being cruddy. I think they knew there was a QA problem and held off on selling them until after Xmas sale. So disappointed.
