USPS 24/7 frustration

I was out last night and had a package to send. I was happy I could do it at the 24/7 kiosk at the postoffice with no kids! Well, it's 10:42pm and the kiosk is undergoing "daily maintanence" and is not available.

Why the heck isn't daily maintanence done during business hours so that I could stand in line to mail if I wanted? Why make it so that I have to come back a different day?

Now, I have to go with 2 kids. Ugh.

Ugh that is really frustrating! If you have a way to weigh the package (I use the baby scale!), you can print the postage online and schedule a carrier pick-up. At least then you wouldn't have to go out again!

Hopefully, if you do have to go out, it will be a smooth, quick trip!

I just came back from the PO . I wanted to mail a package at the kiosk and they didn't have any boxes. That is why I went there in the first place. All they had were the the envelopes.
