DD up at 5am....#$%^ big girl bed

Remind me why they can't sleep in a crib until they go to college?

We have recently started the transition to a big girl bed and it has not been an easy experience. This morning, shortly after DD2 was up AGAIN for nursing, DD1 woke up b/c she lost her binkies and she was cold (darn DH insisted on playing with her vents - separate rant) at 5am.

It is now 6am and we're on the couch watching Sesame Street.

I know there are people who do this on a regular basis, but my kid goes to bed late and usually sleeps until 8am. This sucks. :(

Oh, I do understand. My DD's a late-to-bed/late-to-rise kind of kid too, who's been getting up at the crack of dawn lately. Here's hoping for a long nap from both your kiddos at the same time! (Though if your DD is anything like mine, naps are ancient history...)

i feel for you.. i am not to this stage yet. but i am waiting for the day ds tries to crawl out of bed. i am also getting from everyone, "when are you moving him to a big boy bed" my answer is when he is 10... i hope things get better for you.. going to read the velcro post.
