Any good seamstresses doing alterations on couture gowns in Los Angeles?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good seamstress (with experience doing alterations for couture gowns like Reem Acra and Amsale) in the Los Angeles area? I tried calling some bridal salons to see if they'd do any custom fitting for gowns not bought in their shop, but most places were really rude about it. I'm hoping one of you can help me out with some info:)

A good starting point would be going to www.paccprofessionals.org/ This is a professional org website for custom clothiers, dressmakers, seamstresses, etc. They have a listing of members you can locate in your area. It also lists what thier specialty is (i.e. bridal attire). I found my seamstress this way, and so far she has been great. Good Luck!
