Cribs with stationary side rails

I would love to see more information in a future book on cribs with stationary side rails. From what I understand, more and more crib makers are going towards this style, so that there isn't the issue with "moving parts" breaking. My concerns are that the stationary side rail is lower than drop-down side rails and therefore, wouldn't it be safe to assume that a child could climb out of the crib at an earlier age? I've asked a couple of stores if they have had negative feedback from customers and all have said no, but I'd sure like to see more information/research done on these cribs!! Thanks!
