A question for the Fields...

I have BB 5.0 and am wondering when we'll see the 6th edition in bookstores. I'm specifically looking for updated info on highchairs... since the Healthy Choice Deluxe (2003 - without ruffle) is no longer available. What is your top recommendation now? Maybe this info could be posted on this website?? Thanks for any info!

Hi there!

Sorry about the tardiness of this post.

We update the BABY BARGAINS book every 2 years. The 5.0 book came out in April 2003. So the next (6th edition) will be out in spring 2005.

Now, in between editions, we reprint the book and have a chance to make minor updates (mostly to car seats, strollers, high chairs, etc). Hence, we are now on the 5.1 version.

Abotu the high chair: Fisher Price has a very similar verison to the Deluxe now at Babies R Us---it's called the "Linkadoos." Yes, it still has that darn ruffle, but includes a few extras (toys, etc).

SO, that's what we recommend!
