I just got to the part about having alcohol on the changing table for umbilical cord care, and removing it once the stump's fallen off. I've read more than a few articles that have said that it's now been proven that using rubbing alcohol doesn't make any difference in drying up/cleaning the cord area, so I'd suggest leaving it off the list altogether for the next go-round.
