ok, hopping on the bandwagon here. I am searching for a DVD box set of all the baby einstein releases...I know that I've seen it, but I've searched the internet and am coming up with nothing. I have come across the VHS box set, but we've go the DVD downstairs, yada yada yada. Anyone know where to find this? Or am I making it up? TIA joanne

Joanne,

You may want to check out one of the wholesale stores like BJ's, Costco or Sams. My wife and I bought the DVD's at BJ's in NH. They had 2 3 packs of the different ones. Hopefully this helps.

Check out ebay - there are always a few people selling the full set of 9 DVDs (brand new). They usually end up selling for between $140 and $150. You can also find the 3 or 6 DVD set.

Thanks for the help...I still have a few questions. I am seeing different time lengths for different prices. There is one Baby Einstein DVD out there for $13 and it's 30 minutes long. But then there is also one for about $18, but it's 162 minutes. What's the difference? And does anyone know if the DVD sets are made up of 30 minute or 162 minute movies? I am having a hard time finding the set other than Ebay or the Baby Einstein site.

The "videos" (on the DVD's) are the same length as the VHS ones--30 minutes. I think the extra time listings come form all the "extra" stuff they put on the DVD's--like flashcards and the soundtrack without the pictures.

Yes, some places do carry the "set" of all 8 DVD's. Here's one such place.

But you can probably find the DVD's cheaper elsewhere.

I got some from http://www.DVDEmpire.com and http://www.PlayCentric.com. I used a coupon code for playcentric (try an internet search for playcentric and code or coupon or something like that to see if they have one now). DVDEmpire use to have free shipping, but now it looks like you have to buy 4 things. I just looked at PlayCentric, and they look like they have free shipping and $1 off every DVD--I didn't read the fine print.

HTH somewhat!

OOPS!!!! I mentioned the wrong place! I ordered from http://www.DeepDiscountDVD.com (not DVDEmpire). This place DOES have free shipping all the time, and the Baby Einstein DVD's cost about $14.39 each (strange price, I know).

Hope that helps!
