I'm new to the posting boards - baby boy due in 20 weeks. Could someone shed some insight into the abbreviations? I figured out TTC (trying to conceive), SAHM (stay at home mom) and PNP (pack and play), but what's a DD and what do you call a mom who doesn't stay at home?

Thanks!

sorry, meant to reply and started a new thread instead...titled abbreviations. I think that WOHM is work outside the home mom.

Here's the best I've been able to decipher:

DD = Dear daughter
DS = Dear son
DH = Dear husband

BF = breastfeeding
EBM = expressed breast milk

SNG = Snap and Go (stroller)
MB = Mountain Buggy (again, a stroller)
I can't think of any more off the top of my head, but I'll keep thinking...

This one got me...
IRL= In real life (used when referring to seeing an actual product for real vs picutres, internet and reputation)...:)

Oh and PP is seen on the stroller subjects for Peg Pergo

It depends on the message board, b/c they are all specialized, but off of the top of my head:

MIL/FIL/SIL/BIL: Mother-in-law, etc.
KWIM: Know What I Mean?
IMHO: In My Humble Opinion
LOL: Laugh Out Loud
WAHM: Work At Home Mom
WOHM: Work Out of the Home Mom
BF: Breastfeed
