My 2-mo-old daughter has developed this habit of fussing HORRIBLY when we give her the bottle. (I am pumping and bottlefeeding her breastmilk.) She only developed this problem about a month ago. She screams, cries, gags, thrusts the bottle out with her tongue, shrieks, shakes her head, basically acts like we are torturing her -- then after about 2-15 minutes of this, she takes the bottle and goes to town drinking her milk. She often finishes the bottle (eats about 3-5 oz per feeding). Has anyone had this experience? Our pediatrician said she hadn't heard of babies doing this. It makes feeding time really traumatic for me and I keep wondering what I can do to make it more pleasant for both of us!
