Call me greedy, but what sites can I sign up on to receive free coupons and samples??? I’ve already visited pampers, similac, very best baby, and enfamil.

Thanks,
Lisa

Huggies also has a site. Maybe parentstages.com??? And I also receive Gerber coupons in the mail, although I have no idea how they got my name. But don't worry, once you get on a few mailing lists, they sell them to each other so all the additional junk mail you ever wanted will soon be coming to your mailbox, LOL!!! :)

Also, make sure to get on TRU/BRU mailing lists. They send out 15% and 20% off coupons periodically. If you have a Right Start store in your area, try to get on their list too.

I accidentally got on Similac's list 3 times (not really sure how) with three different incorrect spellings of my name (I suspect Motherhood was the perpetrator) and receive 3 sets of every coupon mailing, including samples. Not that I'm suggesting anyone do it intentionally, but...

I think Beth is right about Huggies - www.parentstages.com. Also, pick up the free magazines in BRU every time you think about it - they have coupons for 15% off a pack of Huggies or Pampers, and that amounts to about $3 a pop.

You'll get an Enfamil diaper bag with samples from your OB and a Similac diaper bag with samples from the hospital when you deliver. Carnation (very best baby) is skimpy with coupons and samples, but still worth signing up for. Similac is VERY generous; Enfamil is moderately generous.

That was sooo much more than you asked for - sorry!!

I have not really raked in any coupons myslef, but I guess I thought they'd find me...I best start signing up for stuff. Someone (here on the boards I think) said that the amount the coupons are worth trickle off once they get you addicted to the product.

Though not suggesting it...BUT you could get a group of friends to register as pregnant and to put EDD dates down that are a month behind you and I think that would keep them trickling in...this thought did cross my little mind...:)IN otherwords you'd have the big amount of savings always trickling in too...

I signed up for the free subscriptions to Baby Talk and American Baby, as well as the Motherhood mailing list. I believe that's all I signed up for, yet in a jiffy my mailbox was bulging with samples and coupons. Gerber, Beech Nut, diapers, boxes of full size cans of formula, etc. So don't worry, the marketers will find you! Even OB's sell names to mailing lists.

If you have a "savings club" type card for your local supermarket, buy a couple packs of diapers and you will start getting store coupons and offers for baby stuff in the mail. My mother bought some diapers and baby food just recently, and now she too receives baby coupons. They do start out really good in the beginning, like free jar of food or buy one get one free, then taper off to "hardly worth it" like $1 off 24 jars :(

Also, if you have a mommy group, make sure you exchange coupons! The moms who used Enfamil would trade with the moms who used Similac, Pampers vs Huggies, etc.

one other suggestion to everyone: if you get samples or coupons you __don't__ need, consider redeeming them and donating them to a shelter. We got 2 cans of enfamil in the mail, plus coupon checks for a can of Carnation and enough for one can of ready to feed enfamil which I picked up at the supermarket. Chip's going to drop it off at a local women and children's shelter since we plan on breastfeeding.

The way I see it, if the companies are going to pour so much money into samples, let them at least go to babies who need it.

Lisa, I copied an old link from Tracey a few months ago that I found great for calling and getting samples/coupons.

Hope this helps,

on line coupons available at http://www.edealfinder.com/ they have a baby/children section and lots of other on-line deals too.

I just found this today and saved 10% on an order from Right Start on line and got free shipping.

I don't know if it has been mentioned, but I always check out savings-center.com for on-line coupons. I've recently used stuff they post for Childrens Place, Target, Mikasa, and Athletes Foot and they have all worked. The only problem is, depending on the site you are shopping on you don't always know if the coupon code worked until the order is complete...kind of annoying.

This is a great idea...because reps and these companies are not targeting shelters etc...thus these gals/families/children are paying more for items then folks not in their situation I bet.

Great idea!!!
