OMG!!!! You girls are cracking me up!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful vibes! :-) You have definitely put a smile on my face! As you can see, I am at the computer NOT CONTRACTING (well, my stomach & esophagus are thanks to all of the food that I have been eating! Gotta love Tums and Pepcid!)!! My husband and I have been trying all of your suggestions: spicy food, Chinese food, macaroni and cheese, mall-walking (like I have never mall-walked before!!!), squats (which I HATE!!). I even tried unpacking my bag, but my husband made me pack it up again :-) I am trying to ignore my EDD and think that I still have two weeks to go :-) UGHHHH!!!

Thank you again for your support!!! :-) You girls are GREAT!!

Um, hate to ask this, but have you tried sex?

You know...I have been entertaining this thought for a while. I can't bring myself to do it though. It is wayyyy to uncomfortable right now. Who knew that a big belly would be such a pain!! I am quite certain that we will cave, though, soon enough! :-) My cervix needs those prostaglandins!!

Thank you!!

Remember my story about how I wasn't dilated, baby hadn't dropped, no signs whatsoever? Well, I did forget to mention that we tried self-medicating (i.e. sex. My husband named it) and I went into labor a few hours later. A coincidence, I'm sure. Almost sure. Waell, you never know.

You could always just use a turkey baster. . .

LOL! :7 Or you could try nipple stimulation.

Sex worked for us! Shawn just loves to say that and puff out his chest at the same time. It was a little awkward, but about three hours later we were rootin-tootin with the contractions. I know somebody who said Red Lobster worked for her and a couple of her friends. Go figure.

Sex was our thing. I had been having false labor all week. One shot (although a couple contractions came/went - most awkward!), pardon the pun, and a couple hours later it was apparent it was for real. I was sick of the false stuff enough to be motivated... good luck!

Just hoping that you're there! Once you can sit down again, let us know!!!! LOL :D

Sex also worked for my sister - at 35 weeks! Ever since she told us that story, Steve won't touch me. He is so afraid of causing me to go into labor too early. Pouncing on him won't work either - I'm entirely too large to be able to sneak up on him. I guess I'll have to go the Red Lobster route...

I'll take it the contraction vibes, mac and cheese (or the sex!) worked. I'll be thinking of you, Sharyn!
