Hi, everybody. Abigail's upper GI is this afternoon. We are headed out to try to keep her distracted since she can't eat for the next few hours. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

I'll be thinking of you both this afternoon! My fingers and toes are all crossed for you. Good luck on the distraction mission and I hope the procedure goes smoothly and helps you help Abigail.

It's over!!! Normal intestine! Woo hoo! The exam was awful. She was really hungry, so guzzled the barium right down when they offered her the bottle. When they took it away, she fell apart. Then they turned her on her side on that hard x-ray table and held her there for approximately a hundred years. She was hysterical. I was fighting panic. But all was well, and as soon as I could hold her, she settled down. She's a liitle out of sorts now, but we're just going to snuggle and nurse the rest of the day. Thanks for all your support and good wishes!

Got to this too late to wish you luck, but so glad to hear it is a normal outcome!! Yay! It must have been just torture for you to see her so hysterical, but holding her again must have been a relief! Enjoy your snuggle time together now :)

I'm late, too, so I get to be second to say, "yay!" I'm glad it's over with.

I've been without a computer this morning (aaaak!) but was thinking of you and sweet Abby. Glad everything is normal. Have a good day snuggling and nursing!

Rachel, I'm so happy that everything went well with Abigail's exam. It must be such a "load off" for you!
Did they give you any ideas on what could be causing her stomach discomfort?
I hope you girls can get some well deserved rest now.

Rachel--

Sorry I couldn't write earlier. DH and I share our computer and he had a huge deadline.

Glad to hear that the test was normal, sorry about the stress and pain for Abby. Enjoy a weekend of snuggle and fun!
