I've also been feeling badly that I never introduced myself. I somehow missed the first go round of introductions, and have been telling myself that it's too late ever since. Elizabeth has encouraged me, so now, I'm going with the 'better late than never' theory.
I'm Karen (31), SAHM to Colin, who is quickly approaching 9 months! Before staying home, I worked as a learning specialist in an elementary school. My degree was in child development, but I have to say that many of my days at home leave me feeling like I actually know very little about children! (Or at least babies!) Maybe I'll feel more competent when Colin gets to be a little closer to elementary school age, but somehow I doubt that. :) DH (35) is an attorney and we've both lived most of our lives in the greater Seattle area.
The information about parenting (and products) that I've learned here has been invaluable to me. I can't imagin how things would be if a friend hadn't recommended the Baby Bargains book early in my pregnancy. (If nothing else, I'd have a really yucky stroller instead of my Pliko that I love! :) )
Thanks,
