Hi folks! We have a new book coming out this fall. It's called: BABY 411: Clear Answers & Smart Advice for your Baby's First Year. It is co-authored by pediatrician Ari Brown of Austin, Texas and seeks to answer all those first-time parent questions . . . like will I ever sleep again? Seriously, we'll have all sorts of good (and up to date) info on nutrition, vaccines, doctor visits and yes, sleep. See below for a description of the book.

With the numerous parenting books, childhood health books, and baby care books out there, you'd wonder why anyone would need to write another one!
Dr. Ari Brown, a full-time pediatrician, started this project at the urging of her patients' families. Despite all of the books and internet resources available, novice parents continually ask the same questions of their pediatrician. One parent commented to her, 'Where can I find the information that you know?' And so, Dr. Brown began a quest to find a child health book for parents, written by a doctor, that didn?t read like it was written by, well, a doctor.
Dr. Brown teamed with Denise Fields, co-author of BABY BARGAINS, to create BABY 411. Fields adds her experience as a best-selling parenting author and, of course, mom to two boys. The result is a book the combines both the detailed medical info parents want with the practical advice only a mom who?s been there can provide. Sort of like Dr. Spock meets Judge Judy.
Baby 411 holds the hands of modern American parents. The authors lead first-time parents through the maze of medical experiences in their baby's first year. New parents often rely on well-meaning veteran parents and their own families for information--with decidedly mixed results. Thanks to a mixture of old wife's tales and internet rumors, parents are often led astray. Baby 411 helps parents sort out fact from fiction.
The authors also tackle the 'hot topics' in pediatric care brought to light by the media and concerned parent groups.
