covers this. I was thinking someone should include in the textbook the start-up costs of having a child. Perhaps the Fields could get with a scholastic book publisher and include the figures in BBB. :)

Cribs and furniture and clothes and a mattress and on and on and on. It might not make a difference to those with raging hormones (I am talking about those teens...not us older "sophisticated" types ;)), but it certainly couldn't hurt.

Actually I seem to recall that the Fields' book does have something like this in the front.

I loved that "Where Did I Come From?" book (by Peter Mayle- and Arthur Robbins illustrations were quite funny, and even funnier now!) as a kid- that's how mom & dad taught us about the birds & bees. Then, when I neared adolescence, mom sat down with me and a copy of their follow-up book, "What's Happening To Me?" Thanks for the little walk down memory lane, Flagger! :)
