she is the world's most beautiful and perfect baby girl. Mom and baby (and daddy and big brother) are doing fine and are home.

I'll write more details later, but it was exciting. I'll just say that we left for the hospital at 9:00 PM, it takes 15 minutes to get there. Allowing for the time to get from the emergency entrance to the maternity floor, look at the time she was born and do the math. :)

Oh and by the way, a little hint. When you make practice runs to the hospital before the baby is born, it is important to check the height limit of the parking garage when one drives an SUV with a cargo carrier on top of it and figure out alternative parking arrangements if necessary. Figure this technical glitch into your calculations above. :)

Congradulations Karen on your new baby. You can tell from my signature line that March 25 is a special day in our family (the day that Grayson Elizabeth made her debut 5 years ago!) We also had a quick delivery, but it was on #3 - she was born on the kitchen floor, delivered by her daddy with the help of 911! Fast deliveries are the way to go!
