I saw a discussion over on one of the forums talking about watching what you say because your child can pick it up...

It might just be me but I find myself coo'ing to Tristan and hoping that he hears every little whisper of it...

BUT THEN... Steve and I might have alittle spat about something and all I think is "I hope he doesn't hear any of this going on"...

Odd how we (or atleast I) think at times...

I think I read that it can be fine (even healthy) for kids to hear their parents argue now and then. Thinking about it, can you imagine holding your tongue when your DH does something stupid, dangerous or annoying?! I know I can't... You just have to watch your language - the child WILL pick up the swear words!!
