Now you got me craving strawberries!!:) Actually, now that they are in season here we've had some around and Arielle can't get enough of them! I think it may be a "red" thing too--she adores tomatos, much like her mommy lives for tomato sauce & salsa while pregnant!

I'm hoping the yummy strawberry cake will jump start labor! Sending lots of good labor vibes your way...

Hoping labor comes soon- and that those strawberries taste as good as they look- you're gonna cause a run on strawberries throughout the country with those pics, Flagger. Maybe this is the week we all get to "meet" Cocoa?!

All the best,

Wow, she must be feeling pretty good! I can't imagine having picked strawberries or making cake at that point. She's a trooper :)

Hope you guys have a good labor and a tiny one very soon!!!

Chuck,
Your pictures brought back memories.
I used to take my kids to pick strawberries when they were little and we would then make strawberry mousse (to die for! I still have the recipe if you want it).
I hope Cocoa makes her entrance (or exit...depending on how you look at it) really soon 'cause we're all waiting anxiously to meet her!!
Keep us posted...

Ms. Flagger loves to bake and cook. One Christmas was an all kitchen appliance Christmas. I got so much grief from the women I worked with at the time, but they just didn't understand my wife at all.

She got a Kitchenaid mixer from me, a blender from her sister and a Cuisanart from my mom. She got the mixer before Christmas actually and she baked 400 different cookies, fudge, divinity, etc.

She took the cake to work yesterday and it was gone within two hours. They are going to miss all the treats she brings in while she is gone. Everyone loved it and the fresh strawberries.

No baby yet, but we headed out to a "U-pick-em" strawberry farm yesterday morning. We ended up with 2 gallons of fresh strawberries. We had so many that we gave some away to our neighbors.

Ms. Flagger is now making a cake with some of the rest. Strawberry scent is wafting through the entire house! Don't know if picking strawberries or making a cake will bring on labour, but we sure had fun!

Here is the recipe for the cake she made. I really had to shrink it to fit as an attachment. Email me if you want the full size recipe.
