Ooh, toughie. I have never found a good way, I always just do it quickly.

Soak the area in water for a long time. Take a long bath with Lauren and the bandaids should float right off.

I think I read somewhere to put olive oil over the top of them to loosen the gummy. Never tried it though. Just left them on for weeks until my best friend pulled them off for me. She knows what a wuss I am. :) Maybe she can come over and help you.

I have left them on until they fell off a few times! Other times they have come off in the bath with not much pulling. I think baby oil or vegetable oil rubbed in the area would also loosen them up. BTW, our ped recommends massaging the injection sites at every diaper change for a day or two after shots. It's no big deal if you don't, but supposedly it helps disperse things so the soreness goes away more quickly. I try to remember, and James doesn't mind it.

Our ped recommended moving his legs bicycle-style to get the vaccines moving and Aidan really didn't get those knots at the injections sites, but he did fuss a bit at diaper changes. We also just allowed the BandAids to fall off on their own - it took a bath and a couple days of Aveeno lotion. Good luck!

I left them on for a few days and then just peeled them off. Honestly, Nate didn't even notice...

Or you could wait until she's already screaming and just take them off then. This worked for us when Nate got his shots!

ask your ped next time if they can give you adehsive remover. comes in a little foil packet like the alcohol swabs. also helpful to get rid of residual gumminess (no more black marks)

We usually leave the bandaids on for a couple of days and then do a long bath and soak them good. Then I pull them off. :)

I saturate them with olive or apricot oil, wait a good while, and then give her a bath. After all that, they slide right off.
