Hi.
Have any of you lost your password for these message boards? If so, how long did you wait until you got a reponse to your request for password retrieval?
I lost mine 2 days ago, and still haven't heard back. DH finally told me to create a new username with his info, b/c there were suddenly several threads I wanted to respond to, and my password kept being rejected.
Maybe I should just use this new username and forgot my old message board indentity. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

It is really hard to get technical help on these boards. I made a mistake awhile back and couldn't fix it so I looked for tecchie help. There is only a FAQ (albeit a decent one), no person to email for tech support. I actually resorted to emailing Alan & Denise.

I don't think it's a big issue creating a new identity (unless you care about your ratings!) so maybe you could have Alan & Denise set your password to some default?

Hi folks. Just a couple of points:

The FAQ for these boards is here:
http://www.windsorpeak.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=help

If you have lost your password, click here to get an automatic email with it:
http://www.windsorpeak.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=retrieve_password

You can always send us an email with any technical help questions about this board to: [email protected]. No, we don't have a special tech person who handles the boards, but we always try to answer questions promptly. Sometimes, we have to refer questions that stump us to the company that wrote this message board script, but they are usually good about helping out too!

Final point: DCScripts (the company that wrote this board script) has a support forum as well:

http://www.dcscripts.com/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=1

Hope that helps,
