Hi all,
Hope this is not too pushy but I thought some people might be interested. Just e-mail me and I will send the first two people who respond a certificate. (edited looks like my e-mail address is old one one the boards and I can't seem to change it ... just respond to the message if you are interested and I will e-mail you so I can send you the cerficate..Sorry)

I work for GM part time and just received two certificates to pass along to someone who is not eligible for a GM vehicle discount, such as a friend or neighbor. The certificate entitles you to purchase or lease an eligible ( they are almost all eligible other than Corvette and the H2) GM vehicle at 4 percent above the employee price. All that you need is my signature and your name on the certificate, which you then take to a GM dealer. You can combine this with any incentives that are also out there. The program runs from May 8, 2003 – June 30, 2003.

Example: 2003 Chevrolet 2WD TrailBlazer LT Discount
MSRP (sticker price on vehicle) $32,295.00
GM Supplier Discount Price $29,446.96*
(price paid by GM employee plus 4%)
GM Supplier Discount Savings $ 2,848.04
Cash Back $ 3,000.00**
Total Value Up To $ 5,848.04

*Tax, title and optional equipment are extra
**Take delivery by 6/30/03.

Again, I hope this does not seem like I am trying to sell vehicles on the board but I know that people with kids are always on the look out to save a little cash and I did not want these certificates to go to waste.

Hi - If you email me at [email protected] I would be greatly intersted. It just so happens DH is looking at a Yukon XL which I'm pretty sure is a GM vehicle, right? We live in a big GM town but I've never known anyone who could pass anything along.

Thanks!

I have just been given some more certificates and they are now valid through the end of September. If anyone wants them, they are up for grabs. Just e-mail me and I will send one to you. My e-mail through baby bargains now works. Also if you have any questions, feel free to e-mail those too.

Hi Melissa
Thanks for making these coupons available. Do they apply to used GM cars up for sale at Gm Dealerships? I am looking for a new/used car to lug my 2 dogs and DSa around.

They are only for new vehicles. It entitles someone to get the GM supplier price which is 4% more than the GM employee price. My understanding is that the discount takes from $250-$1000 off the cost of the vehicle. $250 off small vehicles like the Cavilier and $1000 off something like a Cadillac. All the other incentives/cash back are in addition still good. Hope that makes sense.

Hi Melissa -

I changed my mind!! Sorry but I am not that committed to a GM model to ask for the coupons. Best for me to wait on them. But thanks again for making them available. Sounds like a great deal, though.

Cheryl :)

I know that this was awhile back, but do you have any more of the certificates?

I heard that GM was going to give everyone the employee discount through the end of the month, I don't know if that is true or not. It was on the local news with a consumer reporter who is linked with Consumer Reports.
