Still here at Due Date +2 of Baby Watch 2003!!!

We have our Super Accu-Doppler Babycast hooked up and there is no activity for the foreseeable future.

Now back to your regularly scheduled posting.

Due Date + 3...er now after midnite + 4.

We have been to the hospital twice now today. Once at 1630 and again at 2230 and sent home TWICE.

Still dilated at a "loose" 2cm and 80% effaced - 2 station. Contractions are about 3-6 minutes apart and the water bag can be felt. They gave her a shot of Nubane and Finnegran (sp? I think she said) to help her sleep. I am off to bed now. We feel pretty stupid having to come home twice but they definitely hurt more than they did at noon today. Things are progressing, but "Cocoa" will come when she is damn good and ready.

Luckily we are less than 10 minutes away so we have time to get there.

Today may indeed be the day. After twice going to the hospital and being sent home. Ms. Flagger's water broke at 0335. We got to the hospital at 0611 and admitted by 0625.

Epidural was on board at 0800 with her at 5cm, 100% effaced and -1 station. She is sleeping so I ran home to let out the dogs while a co-worker is keeping her company.

May the third time be the charm. I cannot get onto the nursing computer but I should be home tonight to update.

Well, sounds like today (or at the worst, tomorrow!) will definitely be *the* day!! Now that her water is broken, it's for sure that Cocoa will be arriving! Congrats and can't wait to hear the news!

Excellent!!!!! Oh, I am so excited. I was out all day yesterday and kept thinking to myself, "Hmmm, I wonder if Cocoa is here?"
