FINALLY!!!

I'm Pregnant!!! :)

I just found out yesterday. Went to the doctor for the blood test and they said I was about 4 weeks, due in February. I have a sonogram scheduled for Tuesday at which time they will give us an actual due date. This also means no surgery for the Endo! Yippee!

I'm still in shock, it hasn't sunk in yet.

I know so much has happened around here while I was on vacation, I haven't had much computer time lately. I just unpacked this afternoon and have laundry to do. I really wanted to congratulate Shannon and Flagger on their new arrivals, I just haven't had the time to do it personally. The phone has been ringing non-stop with family members calling. Plus I'm starting to feel weird. If I'm not in the bathroom peeing, I'm on the sofa sleeping. :)

I just wanted to thank you all for all your kind wishes and prayers and look forward to all your advise over the next nine months.

Congratulations Mare!!! What wonderful news!!!:) Feeling 'weird' is totally normal, as is running to the bathroom and being exhuasted all the time! It will go away (well, the constant need to pee might not...;) ) and I hope that you will feel wonderful throughout your pregnancy!

So exciting!! I think all of us remember how exhilarating it was to get the "It's positive!" response! Thus begins a new phase in your life. Here's to an uneventful (remember, boring is good in this situation!) 36 or so more weeks!

We ended up driving to Myrtle Beach, SC and then made a stop over on the way home in Williamsburg, VA. It was very relaxing at the beach. There were two entertainment complexes (very similar to Downtown Disney) we hit every night. We loved watching the Karaoke (sp) shows every night. It was hilarious!

In Williamsburg, we went to the Colonial area, which was really interesting. Then to Busch Gardens, is a really pretty park. We're not into rollercoasters, we just walked around and did basic attractions.

It was very relaxing until we left Virginia Friday morning and the second we got onto the interstate, a pebble cracked our barely three week old windshield. DH cursed for at least 50 miles! :) It hasn't spread yet, it's the size of a dime. He's sick to his stomach over it! Hopefully, it can be repaired without replacing the windshield.

But we came home to wonderful news! :)
