FYI....Free 1st birthday cake at all Big Y's!

Just wanted to let you know that all Big Y supermarkets give out baby's 1st Birthday cakes for free!
All you have to do is bring the baby's birth certificate to the bakery's manager. It's a 1/4 sheet cake with choices of yellow, chocolate or marble; many different types of fillings and frosting; and you can choose the decoration theme from a big book that they have there.
Not bad for free, ah?! :)

Fred Meyer gave us a free regular sized round cake for Colin to "destroy" when I bought a 1/4 sheet cake. I thought that was great, but free is even better!

In the Philadelphia area, ACME grocery stores will give you a free 1/4 sheet cake for baby's first birthday and Giant grocery store will give you a 1/8 sheet cake. All you have to do is show a birth certificate. Got to love a free cake program!
