Return to work nightmare

I had my first day of work today. Things started off fairly smoothly until Jack peed all over the cutest outfit I had picked for his first day. Should have taken the clue and stayed home. Got pulled over for speeding on my way to daycare (wasn't really going that fast, I swear). Cried all the way in to work after dropping him off-why did I bother with the mascara? And then my first task was to go and see a patient who was 1 day postpartum with depression-who was giving her baby up for adoption. Can you stand this???? Three other people could have done this but no, my boss thought it was a good idea for me to "get right back into things". Can you tell he's a man???
The rest of the day went smoothly, though. Glad its over with.

I'm glad the rest of your day at work went smoothly. Going back to work definitely gets better with time. Hang in there! You know you always have a place to vent if you need to!

I cried the first day back to work too. I also made the mistake of going to see DS at the sitter's at my lunch break. I cried again all the way back to work. It does get easier... hang in there. Although your boss sounds like a weenie.
