I'm looking for a climber for DS when he's around 1, but I don't want to have to replace it next year, if possible. I'm looking at these, but I'm open to other options:

Step 2 Kangaroo Climber: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_1/602-5511287-7076665?asin=B00002EIVN

Little Tikes Climb and Slide Playhouse: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_4/602-5511287-7076665?asin=B00000IRZ1

Little Tikes Wave Climber: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_2/602-5511287-7076665?asin=B00001R3V6

Any thoughts? TIA

We have the Kangaroo climber. My DD likes it but she can not climb up to the platform herself yet. It is quite high. Also the platform has a dropoff which makes me a bit nervous. I stand there with here because otherwise she would fall right off. I hope as she gets older it will work a bit better. She does like to slide down the slide now though and open and close the door.

We just got the Little Tykes Climb and Slide Playhouse yesterday. Unfortunately, by the time dh got home, ds was asleep for the night, so I can't really post a review yet.

It looks like he would really like it though.

Boy, I'm helpful, aren't I?!?

We just got the Kangaroo Climber for DS' first birthday, and he loves it! He climbs on it every day, and also loves crawling throught the little holes at the bottom of it. Our 3.5 year old and his friends also have a great time with it, so I am sure it will be around for a while.

I was also thinking of the Wave Climber, but was afraid that it was a little too high for a one year old.

I tried the Kangaroo Climber and took it back the same day. Too small for my 12 month old and she was of average size. I bought the 8-in-1 Playground by Little Tykes instead. My 10 yr old could play on it with 4 of her friends. Well worth the money! It is a much better investment to think of a 3 or 4 yr old playing on it. These things last forever and we use ours daily.'
