Hi everyone. I have been reading here for about 6 months. I finally have some time to post back. My friend Karen (stillplayswithbarbies) told me about this message board before our kids were born after I sent her the baby bargains book.
I live in a western suburb of Chicago, Bloomingdale. My son Stephen was born on March 26, 2003 and came home to us 48 hours later. He is our child through the miracle of adoption. I'm sorry I missed the recent chicago outing but that propelled me to register and post here today. I would love to meet other local moms of infants as there are no other babies in my neighborhood.
Stephen is doing just great. He was 16 weeks yesterday. He has a really happy disposition. I feel unbelievably lucky to have him in my life. He's a little guy. (was 6 lbs 1 oz at birth and is probably up to about 13 pounds now) He doesn't nap well during the day but sleeps through most nights. The crabbies come to visit around 5pm but they don't stay long.
now.. about posting an avatar.... are there instructions somewhere? I have a few pics of him on snapfish.
