Has anyone had a mammogram while bfing?

I was due for a mammogram when I was 8 mos pregnant so never got it. I am still bfing and would like to continue until DS is 12 months. I can't imagine having my breasts squashed in that machine right now. It's bad enough to have a mammo under normal circumstances. Has anyone had a mammo while bfing? TIA.

A breast surgeon told me that you need to wait 6 months or so after weaning before having a mammogram. That time period might be somewhat flexible, but she said having one while nursing would be pointless, because the milk would show up on the x-ray, and it would be like looking for something white in a snowstorm.
