Bargain Alert For Little Tikes 8-in-1 Adjustable Playground

In case anyone in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana or Kentucky wants to purchase the Little Tikes 8-in-1 Adjustable Playground, Meijer has it on clearance for $224.90. It retails at TRU for $349.99. The only problem is, because it's on clearance, there is limited stock. I did buy one yesterday NIB, but some locations only have the floor model. You can get an additional 10% off when buying the floor model. You can also save 10% by opening a Meijer credit card (but you can't do this in the garden center; you have to go inside). This climber is on display in the garden center. If you call stores to check on availability, you should ask for the toy department because that's the department in charge of this item, not the garden center. Then, you should make the person with whom you speak physically check for you whether there are any available other than the floor model, if that's what you want (can you tell I had an initial negative experience in this process?) The box is BIG! It pretty much took up the entire bed of a pickup truck. We haven't tried to assemble or use it yet, but in my research, it looked like the most versatile and longest-lasting climber. I'm not sure of the exact price because for some reason my Meijer store didn't display the clearance prices or percentages anywhere -- just the regular price. Luckily, my mom spotted the sale at her local Meijer store where the sale prices were displayed. The regular price of the playhouse is $499. Based on my savings, the sale appears to be around 25% off. Assuming that the same discount applies to the climber, it would cost around $375.
