Poll: Are you addicted to these Message Boards?:)

Okay, so I'm totally addicted to these Boards. Whenever DD takes a nap I jump on the computer to read them and see what's up. Nevermind the pile of dirty dishes in the sink, or the fact that I desperately need a nap myself!:) Also, I've started discussing the Boards with DH and all of my friends. They must all think I have no life. Although my friends all say they should start checking out the boards soon, and even my sister wants in on the action although she has no little baby (not even one on the way yet). So is everyone else as crazy about their "Baby Bargains Boards" fix as I am?

Hee-Hee, my addiction is bad, real bad. I get on here every cahnce I get to see what new messages and replies there are since the last time I was on (all of 15 minutes ago). And when I went on vacation last week, I couldn't wait to check in here, because I felt so disconnected from all my gal pals! Stop the insanity! :)

Guilty here too! I seem to hop on the computer to read the board all the time. Especially the Lounge now.

I am totally addicted. I find myself thinking "I'll have to ask that on the board."

My dh makes fun of me when I am on the boards. When we leave the house he asks if the ladies can spare me for a few hours.
He laughs he I talk about meeting a person from the boards in October.

Me addicted? Nooo....never....well maybe...its my "quiet time" before bed....I have to have something to wind down with! Its nice to know that Im not the only one out there with screaming kids, a messy house and other issues that only a mother would understand!

Totally addicted. When ever a topic comes up I'm like, gotta check the boards. And my husband just shakes his head. But he can't really say anything because I've gotten tons of great reccomendations and even found $2700 thanks to Neve's missing money post.

Well my computer shuts off and freezes after only about 15 mintues on the boards and then it takes a good 20 hours before it will "allow us to re boot"...

So this has been going on for 14 days now...so am I addicted????
When the computer is acting up I am a bear I miss you all so much!!! I'm mad at DH (why I'll never know it's not his fault infact he is the one who fixes it :))...I'm mad at everything...I am a junkie...

Steve whispered in my ear as he was leaving for work and I was snoozing "I got your computer up"...I bolted out of bed, kissed him off to work skipped up the stairs :) I was so excited...

Within a few minutes it will crash and I will be mad...

BUT this is the only board I go on:)...

Yup...I'm even checking the boards when the boys go down for naps, when the baby is sleeping and DS#1 is engrossed in Roley Poley Olie or something; Most recently, I check the BBs after middle of the night feedings, and am always surprised that I'm never the only person on at those crazy hours! ;)

Quite addicted, though of course I would never admit that to DH. Still, he knows that I am happiest about my purchases/decisions that I came to from reading this board, so lately he has been asking me what my "Imaginary Friends" think:) !

I've actually dragged myself away from the computer and have been FORCING myself to NOT get online so I could get my house in order (please - it really SHOULDN'T take 6 months to change your light switches & outlets). It's amazing what I've been able to accomplish. But my eyes keep drifting back to the computer and I keep thinking, "Just a *little* look, and then I'll hang the shelves..."

Just a small hit, that's all I need... In any event, I'm thrilled I'm almost finished with my household overhaul bonanza and can sit in my big ol' leather chair, sipping hot chocolate and catching up with my girlies!

ps - oh, and DH fully supports my addiction (as long as there are clean clothes for him to wear, and food for him to eat, and that Ainsleigh is fed/diapered...)

Oh dear. I am also a fellow addict. It initally started out so innocent, just to get information when I was pregnant and buying all the baby stuff. Then I got hooked and was constantly reading (but never posting). Since I returned to work, I was reading it while pumping at my desk. But most of the time, I've ended up spending more and more time. Eek!

Not only am I a major junkie, I'm pushing it on others! I'm always buying or telling other pregnant friends/co-workers about the book and the website.

Totally. I sneak it sometimes when DH isn't looking. I don't want him to know about my addiction. Do you think there is a 12 step program for me???

*Edited to say: I was away from home and haven't been on the boards since yesterday morning (gasp!). I told dh that I was going to get on my computer and catch up. An hour later he asked me what I was doing. Still catching up, of course!!
