I know! :)

I wanted SO BADLY to make it happen last night. I lurked and lurked, but couldn't find anything I really needed to respond to. How pathetic!

Instead it was about how my new sling didn't fit :(

At least it was a good one! :)

Girly, you have to catch up to me!!!

So is there a party or anything? A commemorative plaque? A bumper sticker?

I can see it now on my Twin Savvy: a sticker reading: Our Mommy has more than 1,000 posts on the Baby Bargains Boards! :)

I was all excited last night and proudly went into the livingroom, proclaiming to Jonathan, "I just passed the 1000 post mark!!".

He looked at me and said, "Do you know how much you would make fun of me if I told you I just past 1000 posts on Fark.com??".

NGH!

Just along these lines...I was complaining to DH today that I couldn't get some things done around here. He actually had the nerve to say that mayeb if I spent less time on the "Mommy Boards" (as we call them), that maybe I would have more time! GASP-SHOCK-HORROR! :+ :* :P

Ah, yes, I get a similar reaction from dh when I tell him I am going on the boards. It usually involves eyes rolling and a sarcastic, "GREAT!!!!". He does not quite understand that these boards are my connection to the outside world. Oh, well. Hey, Marisa, I did not forget about you, I swear! Life has been crazy around here lately with both girls starting school. We are still very much looking forward to seeing you and Sophie next month. Take care!

Oh, I'm looking forward to the zoo too! I have told several people about it, that I'm meeting some of my CyberMommy friends.

They all think I'm a freak. Then again, considering that I met Jonathan online (match.com), they shouldn't be surprised! ;)

NGH is a noise, not an acronym ;)

Jamie-

It's 10/23 - the day before Sophie's surgery.

I'm going to be down in Philly the day before, so Lauren and I (and whoever else wants to come with!!!) are taking the kids to the Philly zoo.

It will be a perfect distraction for me.

You're certainly welcome to join us!!

When we get to within a few weeks of the date, I will post more specific information about the zoo trip. As it stands right now, we are looking to meet up at the Philadelphia Zoo on Thursday, October 23, around 12:30. My dh can get discounted tickets through work - I will post the exact price as soon as I know. Anyone who will be in the Philly area is more than welcome to come!
