OT: Warren Zevon has passed away

Just thought I would pass on that Warren Zevon lost his battle with lung cancer yesteday. He was 56.

Heaven help the one who leaves.

He was not someone I've ever really listened to but there was a piece on NPR last Saturday (or Sat. before) interviewing his son about his new CD. The whole piece coupled with clips from the music itself were so beautiful that I ran out and looked for the CD. His son spoke so eloquently about his father, his work and his illness that it brought tears to my eyes.

Cocoa really loves his last CD. He really influenced quite a bit of people throughout his career. I bet he is jamming with Miles as we type.

LOVE Warren Zevon. So much that I went to see him BY MYSELF when I was a student in NC an nobody would go with me.
