How to take baby's measurements?

DH just called and for some reason wants to know DS's measurements, including things like chest and inseam and hips...how do I do this? I thought I could find a website with instructions, but haven't had any luck yet...

I have never taken these measurments on a baby but I assume it's the same as measuring for an adult. Hips you measure all the way around at the widest part, inseam is literally the inside seam of a pair of pants, from the crotch to the ankle. And chest I think you measure across from armpit to armpit but I'm not positive on that one.
