View Full Version : Missing Stroller Update--Success...finally!!!

It took my calling the Orlando Sentinal apparantly to get this resolved. Even the columnist didn't think he was going to get anywhere at first because they were not calling him back either...But, as of today, I have a full credit for the stroller! (Granted it's been 8 months...) I went up to get it and return the loaner and the owner was as sweet as pie...could you believe?!? Why couldn't she be this way from the start? I guess the thought of bad press put a fake little smile on her face...Thank you all for your suggestions and support...I would never had the nerve to call the newspaper without your encouragement!

Hurray for you Jamie :) I was just in Orlando for the past two weeks. I think I would have keeled over if I saw your stroller saga in the paper - too funny (for me, not for poor you).

Whew...I'm so glad you got this chapter finished up and can move on. What a trauma. And hopefully you'll love the stroller you do get- it's always a little harder for me to enjoy something that I associate with a bad sales experience, so at least you won't have a stroller from that awful place which could get you upset every time you look at it- KWIM? Anyway, yea for you-- way to stick it out!

Congratulations! Good for you for not giving up. I'm sure at some point I would have started figuring how many hours the saga took out of my life vs. the cost of the stroll and figured I would be getting paid about $1 an hour for my grief if I ever did get my money back. I'm glad it turned out OK finally.
