What is slinging fun? Do you have to have a sling?

We are just going to meet up and are going to bring slings/carriers. I belong to a Yahoo babywearing group and some of the mamas there suggested meeting up. I'm sure if you don't own a sling, it should be a fun day just to meet other Moms in the area.
