Ok Mommies and Daddies - what gifts are your little ones getting this holiday season?

We're getting Alia a chair and ottoman from Toddlerock. But since she will be 19 months around the holidays, I'm not sure what else to get her. She needs some clothes, but what would be some fun gifts she would enjoy at this age? Plus, I'd like to hear what parents are getting their kids as opposed to what the "Hot Toys for 2003" list is from the consumer watchers!

Michelle-
I'd list the items Nathan is getting for Christmas but I think Alia is too old for most of them. However there is a toy that I really want to get Nathan that Alia might like. The toy is by Kidstation and is called a Marble Train. The object of this toy is to move the marbles through the gates, curves, and swirls, this calls for individuating the pointer fingers from the other fingers. (copied from Oppenheim Toy Portfolio) The marbles don't come out.

Sarah will be getting a wooden dollhouse from DH and I and MAYBE a Bitty Baby. But I'll probably hold off on Bitty until her 3rd birthday.

My in-laws want to get her a table and chairs set.

Sarah adores the show JayJay the Jetplane, so I've put several pretent play items from that show on her Amazon wishlist. Other than that, I've only asked for a few books.

We have SO MANY toys that I'm hoping no one gets her anything that I haven't specifically asked for. Sigh.

I want to add Parent's Magazine Walker Wagon to the list. This looked like a really nice toy. Wooden.

Beth, which dollhouse did you end up getting Sarah? :)

Oh, I'm still looking! No decisions yet!

I have sort of scaled back though. I'm considering this one:

And waiting until she's older to get something that will be more customizable.

Also some miscellaneous things like felt balls, wooden lacing toy, probably some pieces for his wooden railway. I'd also like to get him a small acoustic guitar b/c Dh doesn't like to share his. ;-)

Ainsleigh will be getting the Little People dollhouse, a "baby" of some sort and a stroller (she is enthralled with a friend's baby stroller), an aisle with chalkboard, and perhaps a magna-doodle. Those are some things besides the outfits and coloring books (can you tell this kid loves to draw?).

My mom wants to get her a table and chairs set, but I don't know where we'll put it. I recently bought her those magnetic letters/numbers for the fridge and she LOVES them. Oh, and she has a couple "dress up" outfits that she loves. Hmmm, that's right - I was thinking of getting another "dress" (thrift stores are a great place - just get a woman's shirt).

The problem, in my house, isn't finding her things to buy her, but making sure we don't go overboard!
