I found this very amusing and thought some of you might as well. Be forewarned that there is some strong and non-"pc" language and this is totally tongue-in-cheek (for those who may not be familiar with the Onion).

Loved it!!!
For some reason I really loved the one saying that Joe Matagne has deemed your toy safe, because I have noticed a lot of these award winning designees (safe deemers) then sell the product on their sites at enormous mark ups...

Do I live in a shoe box, I had never heard of "the onion" before???

Neve -
It's a satirical newspaper that has been around for a LONG TIME. It's great until someone doesn't realize its intent. A few years a go, I caught a letter to the editor in Readers Digest after they (RD) had run a Harry Potter article. In protest, someone wrote in quoting The Onion about the crimes & wrongdoings Harry Potter had caused (can't remember the specifics). RD printed the letter and then put a polite note at the bottom about The Onion being a spoof. It was hysterical!!!

Oh, Neve, it's hilarious!! I got my mom a few books last year for Christmas, compilations of previous articles. Some headlines include: "World's Largest Metaphor Slams into Iceberg" (Titanic) and "No J. Lo News Today."

Gannon has a t-shirt that a friend got for us; it's white with the words "area baby" on it. Like a police blotter, when they talk about an "area man." And my favorite is a t-shirt of my mother's: "It's not a crack HOUSE, it's a crack HOME." She wears it quite proudly, actually, LOL. :)

This is hiliarious indeed! I especially chuckled at the last tip. My sister has purchased a slew of expensive Barbies for my niece and they aren't allowed to be touched. They just sit in their little cardboard coffins on her shelf. She calls them her "Barbie No-Touch" dolls.

Deidra, I almost did that to Daria LOL. I saw the scooby doo barbies at tru and thought they would be so cool to have but I was going to buy them and make her keep them in the box. The I realized what was the point?? So I didn't buy them at all.
