On a brighter note . . . birth announcement picture choices

After my downer post below, I thought it would be nice to post something cheerier. I am trying to get a good picture of Joshua for a birth announcement. We'll use Naptime Cards (used for Jack and the announcements came out beautiful). I am having trouble with my digital camera, but here's what I have so far.

Would love some votes on which you like best. Unfortunately, none really capture how cute and sweet he is IRL, but this is what we have so far.

I like the second one (13). He seems very alert for his age, not to mention that he's a preemie! What a sweet boy!

You could always give Naptime Prod. two pics and let them choose...that's what we did. They didn't pick the one I expected they would, but it still turned out great. I figured, they're the ones who do this every day and have a good feel for how a pic should look. Just a thought.

Joshua is precious, and I think you can't lose with any of the pics :)

I love #6. It makes me want to give him a big hug. But I like #7 for the announcement. So alert with those big eyes. He looks so healthy too!

Thanks, guys, for your feedback and your nice comments. It's hard to get a good picture of a newborn. I was originally trying for something more artsy but I am still learning my camera which make it harder. Joshua is such a good baby--I hate to keep annoying him with pictures and poses.

I like the #7 that many of you liked too--however, I am concerned that it is slightly out of foucs.

Joanne--I took your suggestion and mailed a few pix to Naptime. Maybe they will help me pick.

Lisa, those are wonderful pictures! He is a cutie! I liked #2 and #7 the best. Naptime will do a great job. I used them for announcements for both the girls too and they were wonderful! :) Hope you have a great day!! :)

My gut reaction is the sleeping one (#6, I think) because they are such angels when they are sleeping. I could watch them all day! But I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. He's precious!
