Thanks so much! I simply can't believe that she's a year old in 12 hours and 5 minutes :P

As if she is trying to prove it to me, Sophie stood up for a few seconds tonight all by herself without holding anything. I know that there are a lot of younger babes here that already do that, but for us it's a really big deal!!

We're going to go to dinner tomorrow night with my best friend, her husband and baby (the one that was born during the blackout).

We finally got what seems to be a little good news concerning the house. It seems that the seller has found an apartment to rent and will definitely move out by the closing (if not hopefully a little sooner!!).

Some news about Sophie's eye - we were supposed to the PO yesterday, but there was a screwup concerning when to stop her atropine. So instead of schlepping two and a half hours each way in the snow, we are going to go on 1/9.

I am so looking forward to what the next year will bring. A new home, new milestones for Sophie-Soph and hopefully a new sibling!!

Despite all my recent kvetching, I am so very, very blessed.
