Can I show off my Christmas card?

Just blatantly showing off my Christmas card here. I'm pretty proud because I'm not artsy at all, but I did this one myself. DH and I had been "negotiating" because he wanted to use the leftovers from last year (sure I bought too much; but really, who wants to send the same card?!) and I wanted to use Blue Daisy so that we would have something special of DS. Our compromise is that I created my knock-off version of what I would have had Blue Daisy do. It isn't as good as they would have done, but for my first attempt, I'm proud;).

What a beautiful card with beautiful pictures! You did an excellent job! I don't think that Blue Daisy could have done it better. Did you use some type of photo software? It's very impressive and you should be proud to show it off :-)

For those that asked... to make the card, I used Microsoft's Picture It. I had taken pictures of Caleb with our digital camera, and I used that program to download them. Then, I created a blank 4X6 postcard, and added a rectangular shape (basically the entire card), then I filled in with color. From there, I kept layering on images and text, and then softened the edges of the picture. Once I figured it out, it wasn't too bad. I probably made this version in about 15 minutes, but it took a while to figure out the system (like about 2 hours!). And then, to keep it cheap, I just had them printed at Costco.com... 75 for $18!
