When I went to get Mia from her crib yesterday morning, she started looking around kind of frantically and saying something that sounded like "gis" with this hissing sound. As she continued, it became more of a "geece" but still hissing. I couldn't figure out what in the world she was talking about and finally the dogs came running into her room and she got so excited "Geece! Geece!"
Suddenly I could picture Neve's message board sig line with 'pup "gees"' and realized Mia was trying to say "doggies" and it was coming out "geece"
Sure enough, Mia's first word on her own is "geece" for doggies and I might not have figured it out for days if not for Neve. Thanks!
