How do you clean a belly button?

I've noticed that DS' belly button needs more than a bath every now and then. I've been using a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol, about once a week or so. Any other suggestions? TIA

ok, i am gross, but i am going to tell you anyway. i dug into his belly button with my finger nail and scraped out all the gunk. there was some residual cord yuck in there and i just couldn't take it anymore. i didn't hurt him! i promise! but the q-tips weren't doing it. (suddenly liza is a freak...)

That is so not freaky... how else do you think I realized that he needed to be cleaned there? (That, and "smelling" the area when I was tickling his tummy.)
