Too funny. And dang it if I didn't forget the frigging camera!
On Saturday, we took Sara to our county park and found an empty soccer field. We brought our soccer ball and then a much smaller ball for her. We were exploring the whole new "walking thing. Well. Just because it's entertaining for us (mommy and daddy), we put the balls on the sidewalk and started dribbling them on the way to the soccer field... I was walking with Sara (read: very slowly) and she took my hand (weird, she's the "I can do it by myself" child of the century) and then kicked at the ball when it got close enough.
So I'm thinking, no way, she's too young, she can't do that yet. So, I had scott start passing it to her (very gently) and she mostly walks into it and then lifts her foot at the last minute and pushes the ball away with her foot and LAUGHS! Time after time after time! It was so funny. We did all kinds of soccer stuff with her and when she got tired (because hey, walking for them is like "redeciding" to exercise for us) Scott carried her while he and I passed back and forth on the field... She was laughing and smiling.
It was just the best day!
