I rec'd a brochure in the mail from At-Home Professions (came in an envelope with a ton of other baby related stuff), claiming that you up earn up to $40,000/yr., (working at home), being a Medical Billing Specialist. At-Home Professions sends you out the course work and you complete the course in four months, but you can take as long as 18 months if needed. Once complete, they don't find a job for you, but offer assistance.

Has anybody heard of this and enrolled in the class? As we all know, basically every company these days has a website and this company doesn't. Suspicious??? Also, I just looked on Monster.com under Healthcare-billing, but didn't find anything listed for jobs enabling you to work at home.

If anybody has any experience with this, would love to hear about it!!!

No experience with it, but as the adage goes: "If it sounds to good to be true..."

I saw something a while back on a news magazine like 20/20 or something... You pay for the class and then you are on your own to find doctors to bill for... So, if you can actually find the doctors to bill for, you can make money, but that is completely your responsibility...and supposedly pretty impossible too. Don't take my word for it though...just something I remember seeing...
