Martie is entranced by some PBS show that has what looks like 4 or 5 dancing Grimaces from McDonald's that are all different colors. I bet it's something from the maker of Tellytubbies. This is a really strange show, but she seems to love it.

It's Boobah. http://pbskids.org/boohbah/boohbah.html

I don't understand it, and fortunately Logan doesn't seem interested in it, not like she is with Teletubbies anyway.

Betcha it's "Boobah" which is from the Teletubbies creators.

I still don't understand how kids can watch Teletubbies let alone this one :-)

Oh! I just read an article about them (I read Time and Entertainment Weekly, so it was in one of those). It IS by the maker of Teletubbies. I think they were called Poohbahs or something.

Ok. I did some research (what did we do before google?) and they are BOOHBAH.
Here is a website: http://pbskids.org/boohbah/boohbah.html

ETA: LOL!! The three of us must have replied at the same time. Too funny! And I think we posted the same link as well. Great minds think alike.

Thanks Karen! Actually at the end they said to learn more about Boohbah check out PBS.org. This show is crazy. It looks like it was created by those who smoke the wacky tobacky.

After reading the website I think I see why Martie likes this show. She really loves music and I think she loves dancing stuff. So maybe that's why. For my sanity, I don't think it'll be on very much here.

I can't STAND this show. What kind of a kids show has no talking? I hope it gets cancelled...soon. And hey, I'm no big Barney fan, but it's taking up Barney's slot!

dancing grimaces LOL! It is the strangest show, but I have to admit JG LOVES it. She just stands there in a trance watching and does the occasional spin with the Boohbahs. But what was up w/ the giant clamshells?

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you asked this. I was briefly channel surfing during Jack's nap today and found MYSELF a bit mesmerized by these things, and very amused. But I didn't watch long enough to know what it was.

Hmm.. maybe i need to get my head checked.. i like the Boobahs... i have not seen the actual show but on pbskids.org Boobah has various 'games' you can play and Leela and me sit and 'play' this one dance game over and over and over again. Rather, I play it and Leela is entranced.

You have to try it.. it is pretty fun! :)

The whole Boobah thing reminds me of the episode of "love Ducks" on "Arthur." (I am an "Arthur" fan and probably have seen every single episode of that show... lol)

And yes, I was so afraid that Gabriel would be attracted to this show. thank goodness no. Now my 6 yo wants to watch it every day after he comes home from school, I think just to annoy me. :)
