We had our tax appt with our accountant today. And he's a genius. Love him, love him, love him. But it's not just that he helps us to save a lot of money each year... it's that he teaches us to be more aware of tax implications in all that we do.
DH has his own business, and that is a tax bugger! But even after he had spent an hour with us going over our paperwork. He weighed the pros and cons of certain investments we were considering from a tax perspective. He took time to really answer some questions we had, to the point that I feel really educated on it (read: I won't forget it tomorrow :) ).
And I love that his suggestions and help I feel are really ethical. I've known too many who help you "get away" with things that really are questionable. This guy is really ethical.
Don't know why I wanted to share. Just happy that someone who is charging me for a service actaully does their service well and goes above and beyond... something that I feel rarely happens!
