WE'RE THRILLED-but afraid to celebrate...PREGNANT!!!!!!!

Dr confirmed via a quanitative blood test this morning that I am pregnant!!!! I have to say I am scared to death (so Trish we are in it together hon)...Since having the ectopic (tubal) pregnancy my chances of another one have gone from 1/100 to 1/10...the scarey part is that that baby was in my right tube and since I have slight pain at ovulation I know this one was conceived in my right tube, so that obvioulsy has me on pins and needles...

THE MOST AMAZING THING...I found out I was pregnat with Tristan the month I would have been due to have my first baby which miscarried...

and sure enough...I'd be due this month with my last baby if it was not ectopic...so I hope that in itself "saves" this child and that there is a force from above watching over the baby...

WE ARE STILL PLANNING TO ADOPT NEXT APRIL!!!!...and though we were still trying to conceive we knew since we were proceeding to adopt that we might have to "stop" trying soon so we could fulfill that, this timing just seems to be perfect...

Please cross yor fingers or whatever else for us...this baby is sooooo wanted!!!!

I'm so happy for you Neve! I've been thinking about you since I knew your old due date was soon. The due date is a hard one to get through for some reason---having a baby on the way makes it much more bearable.

Are you going back for a repeat beta? I hope so! As long as those numbers roughly double every other day, then you know the baby is doing well! Ask your dr to recheck your numbers if he isn't already planning to.

So I go back today to make certain my levels are increasing at the rate they should...and SCARED TO DEATH over it!!!!...The Dr's nurse wouldn't schedule me for an ultrasound until this second level was drawn and resulted...

I've been so tired but boobs haven't hurt which scares me slightly...

Neve, my boobs KILLED with Gannon, I had awful marks on me from my bras. (This was before I had taken a hpt or gone to the doc.) I didn't have any inkling with Sorrel, only that I was exhausted - which I really thought was Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Thankfully boobs hurting doesn't occur w/ all pregnancies, so I wouldn't worry about NOT having that symptom! In fact, I would embrace it's absence! Good luck today and rest as much as you possibly can.

Congrats on this wonderful news! I've got my fingers crossed that baby has implanted in the right place and all is well! I was on pins and needles until they did the ultrasounds that confirmed that both of my girls were in the right place (not in the tube) as I had a previous ectopic pregnancy too. Hang in there and best of luck with repeat bloodwork. I insisted that my doc get me in for an early ultrasound as soon as I confirmed that I was pg. Don't panic if they have to do a vaginal u/s rather than a regular one. It was so early on for me in both pregnancies, this type of u/s had to be used because they couldn't see the tiny baby with the regular machine. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts! Congratulations!

Speaking of products I should share Walmart has a pretty flannel that is on discount with bright pink hearts on it, I bought some incase a girl for her blanket home :)...Tristan had clouds and I just loved the colors in this flannel...they also had purple (which I got too) :)...
