My FIL sent this to me, he lives in Omaha, Nebraska. This was in the paper there from a Rabbi. I really think he made some important points in favor of gay marriage in a civil context while still understanding the rights of religions to not perform or recognize them. My FIL says that it is a very conservative paper, so he is very brave to share his views in favor of gay marriage and against any proposed constitutional amendments. I think this is very well written no matter where you stand on the issue!
